They are leaders in the fledgling but fast-moving Cannabis space which requires deft account leadership chops across all brand touch-points, including branding, packaging, go-to- market strategy, experiential and digital, across both awareness and engagement channels.

Roles & Responsibilites
You = Yin, Client = Yang.
Manage the expectations of an important client (as they all are) and balance that with the needs of the agency to maintain the highest calibre of work possible. The art is in knowing how to not compromise one for the other, as they both serve as the key purposes to your role.
Plan. Plan Plan.
Architect all the key pieces of paperwork, including project briefs, creative briefs, timelines / work backs, SOWs, estimates and status reports.
Be the Amazing Kreskin. (Look it up)
Knowing what needs to be done is table stakes. Knowing what your client’s future needs are is key to growth.
Trust your gut.
Tap into those years of good, bad and ugly client experiences and anticipate challenges, providing options to solutions as you go.
Take the lead.
There are high expectations on you being able to organize and lead key account meetings, both internally and with clients like a boss.

Your team is your everything.
While there’s an ‘I’ in Jacknife (and only one ‘k’ for some reason) there is no ‘I’ in team. Teiam. Tieam. Teaim. Nope. You are going to be working alongside other very talented human beings. Be excited by the things you will build together.
Sometimes it’s not all about us.
While we continue to grow, we rely on a repertoire of key strategic partners, whom are too industry leaders. Knowing how to leverage their skills to make one plus one equal three, is paramount.

It’s not rocket science to know that as the client relationship grows, so will your responsibilities to manage that client accordingly. Seeing where the company can help the client across other engagement channels, projects and brands is how you can carve your own path to greatness.
Most clients love donuts. Even though they typically say “Oh you really shouldn’t have…” it’s good to bring a little ’surprise and delight’ to your interactions. (And save some for us to will ya?)
Required Experience & Qualifications
This role is for a superhero-level Supervisor or lead guitar Account Director. (It’s a mix of who you are and what you’ve achieved that’s important.)
We are thinking a minimum would be 5+ years of relevant experience in a progressive ad agency (they still exist right…?) or branding shop.
Deep understanding of the requirements, processes and deliverables of key engagement and awareness-based brand channels.
(identity design, graphic design, packaging, brand, marketing and GtM strategy, content, experiential, web/mobile/social, etc.)
- Professional experience in consumer-facing brand development
- Fast, nimble, confident and friendly.
- English a must, French an asset, Australian a bonus.
