/ Jacknife is shortlisted for Design Agency of the Year
Its the first time Strategy has expanded its Agency of the Year program to include Design Agencies and we’ll find out in a fancy gala on November 9th if we’re the top of the crop. We already feel like we are, and our mom’s will back us up on that. Keep your fingers crossed and look out for the one-off art piece we created for a fundraising auction at the event – its bound to pop-up on our Instagram account after the event.
/ Branding cannabis and office furniture. Never a dull day.
Jacknife has built a reputation for working on a really diverse range of projects across many disciplines, but we still love to dig into a pure branding assignment. A couple of recent examples are the new cannabis brand Emblem and the rebranding of iconic Canadian furniture brand Tayco.
For Emblem we handled naming, brand strategy, visual identity system, and packaging. In the case of Tayco we created a new strategic brand platform, visual identity, website, marketing collateral and brand guidelines.
/ Another TruShield campaign launch
Keep an eye out for our newly launched second campaign for TruShield Insurance. After a complete rebrand, we had a very successful launch campaign and are happy to be continuing the momentum for this fresh brand and amazing client team. This time around we’ve got some fun web spots, transit shelter ads, radio and digital banners. Watch the spots here.
/ We struck Marketing gold!
We recently won gold at the 2017 Marketing Awards for our branded environment work with Weston Bakeries. We couldn’t be more proud of the work, so here’s to great clients, a great team, great bread puns and more great work ahead.
/ New faces at Jacknife
2017 has been good to us! In addition to winning some exciting clients in retail, a beloved food brand, and a major player in the rapidly growing cannabis industry among others, we’ve been able to add some outstanding new people to our team.
Cam Wykes joined us as our new President and brings extensive agency building experience. You can read Cam’s most recent article for Strategy Magazine here.
We’ve also added two new designers – Michael Ryan and Joelle Wall who are both very talented and bring some global experience to the mix.
Last but not least, Sarah Marangoni has joined our project management team. In addition to her skills keeping the train on track, she has excellent taste in music.
