Evelo Biosciences Branding
With the need to reach elite investors, the team at Evelo had tasked Jacknife with crafting a strong strategy and visual identity for the next wave of their brand. The ask was to help elevate the brand and to tell the story of the change that’s coming in the market—and how Evelo is leading that movement.
After scanning the field and doing our research, we quickly understood that this is a market where many start-ups tend to blend in—and our task was to make Evelo stand out. We got to work and immersed ourselves in the monoclonal microbials category, the incredible team of scientists at Evelo, and their vision for innovation, in order to truly understand what they stand for and how they’re ushering change in the bioscience space. Rooted in strategic brand positioning, we helped to guide their values, narrative, and voice and translated it into a new ownable aesthetic including a new logo, identity, collateral, and website.
Through this project, Jacknife created an identity that felt representative of the brand, made an impact with their target audience and established Evelo with a strong foundation in the space right before they went public on the NASDAQ.
